With a small outlay of money, you can design part of your home to accommodate your pedal-powered transportation and still have an attractive living space. Your equipment will be more easily found and will last longer when you have the materials at hand to keep it clean and dry.

Can I train a cat to sit in a bicycle basket?
I have a cat (I think he's half American Shorthair, half Maine Coon) who gets pretty upset when I go to work. I could take him with me, but I don't have a car. Would it be possible to get him used to riding in a basket with me (the bottom would be lined with something, of course) or would that be the kind of thing you'd have to start working on as a kitten?
