How long does coco liner last in a hanging basket?
I bought several hanging baskets that have the coco liner in it and I want to use it as my planter for petunias. I was wondering if there would be any other treatment I would need to use to keep it 'together' never used it before so I don't know anything about it. Tried looking it up but only found merchandisers selling coco liners.
Coconut coir, which is what the liner is; will last several years. That's why they make them out of coir (pronounced 'core'). It lasts far longer than sphagnum moss.
No you don't need to treat it with anything else.
