Bathtime for birdy! HELP!?
I have a few questions about bathtime for a parakeet named Lulu. Is this right? A bar in the shower for a steam? Or... A glass clear pan filled up with about a quarter inch water? After blow dryer or a plastic basket towel food and a slipper? Im so cunfused! HELP!
I have a small old tupperware container with water in the bottom of my Cockatiel's cage for bathing. She loves it. Also another option is a water sprayer (bottle). They love little squirts every now and then. Also, you can buy shower perches, they have suction cups on each end so your bird can shower with you. Dont put him under the full force of the shower tho.
You mention a blow dryer, I wouldnt let a blow dryer anywhere near my bird. I dont think they would enjoy that too much.
